Question. How Do You Get Vicks Out of Hair?

Remember the old Tootsie Pop commercial where the kids want to know how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center? Finally, they go to the wise owl who takes the Tootsie Pop, licks it three times, bites it and says, "Three." Well, Isaiah decided to crawl onto the bathroom counter and see what damage he could do with a bottle of Vicks. Please see the results below.

It's not as funny as it looks. Three days later and we can still style his hair any way we want without adding water or anything else. Once Rochelle had washed his hair about a dozen times we added some corn starch to try and soak up some of the Vicks. The good news...Isaiah hasn't had a stuffy nose since then.

Isaiah finished up the dessert plate Saturday night after we had friends over for a back-to-school party.

OK, Jarad was wrong. I washed his hair more than a dozen times. I washed it for an hour!!! Luckily he likes to have his hair washed.

I can't think of anything. Well, there's this carpet cleaner we've been using that seems to get everything out of anything. Spot Shot. When you do figure out how to get it out, let me know. Good luck!

Love the pics of Isaiah...it makes your whole ordeal much more real to me! I caught Hayden with 5 TUMS tablets in his mouth the other day...just when you think all your "stuff" is put away, they always prove you wrong!

I think I would have loved your zucchini bread. It was hard not to dive in to it...believe me. Maybe I will have to get the sugar free recipe from you ;) Only 17 more days to go...sigh.

Hello, Rochelle!!!! I'm so glad you tracked us down. ;) That's an impressive mess! My mom still tells about the time I smeared my hair (and my sister's) with vaseline and then poured baby powder on it. But I'm sure she's remembering someone else - it couldn't POSSIBLY have been me! (hee, hee)

So, you're back in CS? Are you on the Academy or in town? Did Jarad take Darin's post back while they're in Korea?

I'm pretty sure I would have had some tears going on... but I am guessing that the peanut butter was a bigger mess... could be wrong there though :)
